Holidays '09

What fun we had this year! Maggie is at such a fun age and made Christmas such a special time for us. Christmas lasted the full week-Saturday through Sunday and was full of friends, family, parties and food--which is perfection in our book!
We ended the holiday break by letting Maggie stay with Alan's parents, her Memommy and Grandaddy while Alan and I spent 4 days in Ruidoso. What a wonderful way to ring in the new year! Maggie was pampered and played with without end and Alan and I were able to relax, sleep in and spend some much needed time together. We look forward to what 2010 will bring. Alan is loving his job with Armtech and the changes that are unfolding there, we are looking for a house and tackling the challenges that come along with house hunting and hope to grow our little family by one more this year. Lots of great changes are upon us right now and no doubt that God has several more lined up!
Maggie waiting to open presents in her rocking chair....formerly Mommy's rocking chair.
One of her most favorite presents...Puppy! It's at least twice her size and she adores it.
Tear off paper, check. Open box, check. Hug the contents and say oooooooh, check.
Loving the Puppy with uncle Bubba.
Alan's most favorite dessert every is chocolate pie...so of course we let Maggie give it a taste and this was the reaction when it was gone. Priceless.
On our way to Ralls for the Norris family Christmas. AKA, day of toys!
Fixing breakfast in her new kitchen.
Outside our house.
Perfect end to the weekend: watching a super exciting Bowl game for our Red Raiders!

Jackson was looking over my shoulder and said "Who is that cute baby!?" =) She has grown up so much since I last saw pics of her! She's adorable as always! And it looks like she had a very special Christmas. =)
