9 months of pictures

So it was recently pointed out to me that I was a bit behind on this blog...I was fairly aware of that fact but I had NO idea that 9 months had passed.

Our sweet 2 year old is now a sassy almost 3 year old and she blows my mind on a daily basis. I am amazed at how much she has grown up in the last few months and it saddens me that my little baby is quickly becoming a little girl. She wrapped up the fall at Trinity and started at The Learning Tree this spring. All I can say is, "WOW."

We have been so blessed by her teachers at The Learning Tree and Maggie has come such a long way. She counts to twenty in English and Spanish, knows her colors in both languages, can sign most animals, colors and small phrases, has memorized several Bible verses and carries on conversations with me that I sometimes think I should be having with a child twice her age. Her new school was a scary but very positive change and we're so happy with the outcome.

Maggie still loves to read and loves Olivia books. Second to reading is singing and most everything that comes out of her mouth in sung to some tune or another. We have spent the last couple of weekends in the pool and yesterday she began swimming without floaties which is somewhat of a relief and a fear all at once!
